From our fully accessible en-suite rooms to our peaceful gardens, Dee View has been carefully designed to help residents feel at home. We support people to spend their days however they choose, so we’re always happy to facilitate quality time with loved ones or enjoy some quiet time with friends in one of our communal lounges. 

With a varied activities programme and a team that takes the time to understand each resident’s interests, we make sure everyone has the opportunity to stay engaged and enjoy life. We help people continue to participate in existing hobbies, try something new, or spend time socialising.

Our spacious, fully accessible en-suite bedrooms are fully furnished to create a welcoming and homely environment. Wide doorways, accessible bathrooms, and adjustable beds ensure ease of movement and convenience, allowing residents to feel safe and comfortable in their surroundings.

We encourage residents to personalise their space with their own belongings, making their room feel truly like home. Whether someone prefers a quiet retreat or enjoys welcoming visitors, their room is a place of comfort where they can relax in privacy whenever they choose.

Dining

Our in-house catering team prepares fresh, high-quality meals every day, with menus designed around residents’ preferences, dietary requirements, and cultural or religious needs. We cater for a texture-modified diet, and PEG feeding and always ensure that every meal is both appetising and appropriate.

We try to make sure that mealtimes are a social occasion, offering residents the chance to get together and enjoy home-cooked food in a relaxed environment. For residents who prefer to dine in their own rooms, we’re happy to accommodate their wishes while ensuring they still receive the same level of care and attention. Our team takes pride in creating a positive dining experience, making sure that every resident receives the nutrition they need.

Our beautifully maintained gardens provide a peaceful and accessible outdoor space for residents and their loved ones to enjoy. Designed with wheelchair-friendly pathways and seating areas, our gardens offer a safe and tranquil environment for fresh air, relaxation, and socialising. We encourage everyone to take a quiet moment to enjoy the surroundings or join in with outdoor activities. Our team is always on hand to assist those who need support, ensuring that all residents can enjoy the gardens comfortably and confidently.

Our Therapy Room at Dee View Court is a dedicated space where residents can receive specialist treatments tailored to their individual needs. Whether it’s physiotherapy to improve mobility, occupational therapy to support daily living skills, or speech and language therapy to enhance communication and swallowing, our experienced team provides expert care in a calm and comfortable setting.

At Dee View Court, no two days are the same. Our dedicated Recreational Therapy team supports residents to engage in a wide range of activities that promote physical, cognitive, social, and emotional wellbeing. Each activity is tailored to the individual, adapting to their interests, goals, and capabilities, so that everyone has the opportunity to take part in a way that works for them. Whether continuing a lifelong hobby or trying something new, residents are supported to live life on their own terms.

We take a resident-led approach, offering choice and flexibility through group sessions, community-based activities, or one-to-one sessions delivered in residents’ own rooms. From quizzes, creative arts, and movement to music, to writer’s groups, Spanish club, meditation, and sensory sessions, there’s something for everyone. Friends, family, and volunteers are always welcome to join in, helping to create a vibrant and inclusive atmosphere.

At Dee View Court, we provide expert care for people living with complex neurological conditions, offering both long-term and short-stay placements. Our experienced team understands the challenges that come with progressive conditions such as Huntington’s Disease, Motor Neurone Disease (MND), Multiple Sclerosis, and Parkinson’s, as well as those caused by brain and spinal injuries or strokes. With personalised care plans, access to specialist therapies, and round-the-clock support, we focus on enhancing comfort, dignity, and quality of life.
