Landscaped Gardens

Our landscaped gardens offer a calm and accessible space where residents can enjoy fresh air, natural light, and peaceful moments, whether it’s a peaceful morning coffee, a walk with a family member, or simply listening to birdsong. Thoughtfully designed for people with complex neurological conditions, our gardens are a key part of the therapeutic environment we provide.

Designed for Accessibility, Comfort, and Connection

Our gardens are fully wheelchair-accessible and laid out to support independence and safety. Many of our en-suite bedrooms open directly onto patio areas, giving residents easy access to the outdoors whenever they wish. Wide, level pathways, comfortable seating areas, and sensory planting make the space inviting and therapeutic, encouraging residents to spend time outside on their own terms.

The gardens are used in many different ways—some residents enjoy gardening or light outdoor activities, while others simply appreciate a quiet spot for reflection or a chat with family and friends. The garden is also an extension of our activities programme, with outdoor events, therapy sessions, and seasonal celebrations taking place in the warmer months.

A Space to Relax, Reflect, and Feel at Home

The garden is ideal for sensory engagement or simply enjoying a garden view when the weather isn’t as inviting. This space, like the rest of the home, has been designed with comfort and dignity in mind—ensuring residents feel secure and supported while enjoying the natural surroundings.

We believe that spending time outside should be part of everyday life, not a luxury. Whether it’s a planned activity or an impromptu moment in the sunshine, the gardens at Dee View Court are there to support wellbeing, relaxation, and a continued connection to the world beyond the care environment.
